CESAMES Academy’s trainers and coaches are all experienced architects. The common core of our training is the CESAM method, a systems architecture framework developed under the leadership of the “Complex Systems Engineering” industrial chair at the École Polytechnique and refined through close collaboration with major industrial players.

The method serves as a practical and structured approach, complementary to those offered by INCOSE in systems engineering and TOGAF in enterprise architecture.

The CESAM methodological standard has been operationally deployed on more than 2,000 complex systems development projects. It is used by numerous major companies, and more than 10,000 engineers, project managers, and managers have already completed our training courses in France and internationally.

| A skills development course in systems architecture
To meet the needs of our clients and all levels of maturity of the audiences to be trained and supported, CESAMES Academy offers a multi-level, certified skills development program in systems architecture or enterprise architecture.
This program is based on the “CESAM Pocket Guide” and the “systems architect” skills framework. The latter currently covers all of our training programs in systems architecture and enterprise architecture, as these two disciplines are sufficiently similar to have a single skills framework, even if the systems to which these skills apply are different.
The CESAM (CESAMES Systems Architecting Method) skills development program attests to an individual’s ability to implement architectural methods—a key tool for business competitiveness—in specific contexts. It is associated with a multi-level CESAM professional certification issued by CESAMES.
Introductory training – 2 to 3 days
Introductory training courses are designed to cover awareness needs regarding the architectural approach to management and to enable architects to better understand all the key architectural issues and processes.

ON-THE-JOB TRAINING – 6 to 12 months
Action training (6 to 12 months) involves engaging in learning based on a “real-life” project on which the person(s) being trained are working. Alternating theory, practical input, and project-based coaching, they are remarkable tools for developing skills.

After validating the prerequisites and ensuring the training meets your needs, you will receive confirmation of your reservation by email. The agreement will be sent to your company’s Human Resources department for signature. You will then receive your invitation by email.

CESAMES Systems Architecting Method (CESAM) is a systems architecting & modeling framework which develops since 2003 in close interaction with many leading industrial companies in areas such as aeronautics, automotive, civil engineering, defense, energy, health, railway and space.
